The DAWN team has released another new image of the asteroid Vesta, this one taken just a few days ago, and it’s a belter!
It’s still a bit fuzzy, but that’s only because DAWN is still a long way away, and in the days ahead the images will get sharper and clearer, but already we can see what appear to be craters, peaks and depressions on the surface.
I’ve messed about with skilfully processed the image to bring out some more details…
